Fullstory igniting the ‘Spark’ at The Science Museum with a full-day conference and immersive, networking reception at Wonderlab.

Objective.

This ‘Spark’ event was one in a series of customer engagement experiences designed to build momentum, drive brand awareness, inspire and delight, and educate the client’s customer base. The brief was to create an immersive, high-impact environment that would leave guests feeling energised, valued, and more closely connected to the brand.

The event needed to accommodate a global audience, offering a mix of hands-on working sessions, educational content, and networking opportunities in a format that felt innovative and inspiring, not overly corporate or conventional.

Experience.

Key to the experience was crafting a seamless journey for delegates, from arrival through to evening entertainment. The daytime conference featured theatre-style content sessions, pop-up sponsor booths, and breakout networking areas. Custom branding elements, dynamic AV support, and sustainability-themed catering brought the client’s identity and values to life throughout the event space.

Flexibility was built into every stage of the planning. As delegate numbers grew, the layout was easily adapted, ensuring both comfort and impact were maintained. The agenda was designed to foster connections, stimulate curiosity, and deepen the client’s understanding of their mission and offerings.

Following the day’s sessions, guests were invited to a memorable evening experience—a curated mix of cocktails, informal networking and immersing themselves in a world of wonder in the spectacular interactive gallery, Wonderlab

This final element allowed attendees to decompress and connect more personally, with the unexpected format creating standout moments of delight and conversation. 

Sustainability & Engagement Touchpoints.

Sustainability was woven into both the logistics and content. Catering featured a fully vegetarian menu paired with educational fact cards about environmental impact. Branded potted succulents were used as décor, doubling as take-home gifts for delegates to extend the experience beyond the event.

 

AV & Production Excellence.

AV execution played a central role in elevating the production value and audience engagement. A comprehensive technical setup included multiple relay screens, branded stage visuals, lighting that matched the brand palette, and creative use of vinyl applications across the venue. The result was a strong visual identity that made a lasting impression.
