Objective.

Dynamic Planner hosts an annual conference to strengthen the brand, position Dynamic Planner as an innovative and trusted leader in financial planning, increase customer engagement and drive growth. Many of the audience are longstanding Dynamic Planner advocates and have attended past events, so the challenge was to elevate and build upon an already successful event.

Experience.

So, how do you build on an already prestigious event? We reviewed previous years – what went well and not so well – and used these events as the foundation to build bigger and better.

The conference was live-streamed so national audiences could absorb the content, but the focus was to amplify the in-person, face-to-face connection. We emphasised content, visual production and attendee journey to increase the experience for all those who attended in person.

Each year, one of the challenges is to find a venue that can offer 5 additional breakout areas as well as the plenary space. We assessed what the potential delegate journey could look like at 22 Bishopsgate and found that with creative thinking and control over delegate logistics, we could adapt an area. Changing the space to move the main networking and dining areas we could avoid clusters of people and with well-positioned pipe and drape we were able to accommodate the 5th breakout. The ‘sales’ pop-up area was enhanced from previous years and the whole area was optimised to improve interactions with an open, airy feel. Dynamic Planner and event partners were able to connect with delegates on a personal level.

Every touch point was covered in bold branding, and great attention was paid to the main stage. Dynamic Planner has never looked better – the bespoke lighting design and music added to the overall theatrics and immersed audiences in the brand.

As with any event, getting the content bang on is crucial. Sessions and content were designed to position Dynamic Planner as the ‘go-to’ leader in financial planning and gain the audience’s trust. We supported the client in developing an inspiring schedule with a delicate balance of future thinking from industry experts, brand messaging, out-of-the-box thinking and breakout sessions, all packaged with exceptional production.

Impact.

Overall, the conference was a massive success – A total of 550 people attended (220 in-person and 330 virtual), and the delivery of the event was faultless. We’re already planning for 2026, and with an increase in attendees, we’re looking for a new venue that can elevate the conference even more. As part of the delegate experience, the KPI was to achieve a delegate satisfaction score of 8 or above, which surpassed the target with a score of 8.59. The event received PR coverage from 22 sector publications, which will help grow the Dynamic Planner brand and entice new attendees for the following year.
